Business Technical Assistance
The WBC employs business counselors to help you grow your company and solve the problems that face small businesses. WBC counselors offer a flexible appointment schedule in multiple locations. To help make the most of your and the counselor’s time, clients may be asked to attend an orientation and/or provide information about the business prior to your appointment. WBC welcomes clients of all genders, races and backgrounds.

- Financial management
- Loan application preparation
WBC counselors may also prove helpful when you are:
- Making human resources and staffing decisions

Cost of Services
The cost of providing counseling services to clients is subsidized through the fund raising efforts of WBC/CCD staff. The Seattle and Tacoma offices provide counseling services free of charge. Education and Training
WBC trainers present at community colleges, chambers of commerce and other local business organizations, and may be contracted to prepare and present classes addressing your group’s particular training needs.

- The WBC offers training on topics such as writing a business plan, target marketing, cash flow preparation, financial analysis, sales and ecommerce.
- The WNET (Women’s Network for Entrepreneurial Training) program offers monthly programming in multiple locations.
- Education on the government contracting process is also regularly available.
